Throat tics

Throat tics may involve making sounds or movements with the throat. So tics logged here will probably be a mix of motor and vocal/phonic.

Examples of throat-related tics

  • A need to breathe in or gasp, to either produce the sound or feel the movement of air going in or out.
1 — Once a day or less 2 — A few times per day 3 — Several times throughout the day 4 — Most of the day 5 — Almost all day, every day
