Unwanted intrusive thoughts related to sexual acts that conflict with a person’s values. The distress comes from fear of what the thoughts might mean, not desire.

I don’t suffer with this subtype of OCD, but I can imagine it is incredibly distressful for people that do. It’s one of those where many sufferers will feel they cannot talk openly about it compared to for example, worrying about an intruder entering the home or accidentally starting a house fire. 

1 — Once a day or less 2 — A few times per day 3 — Several times throughout the day 4 — Most of the day 5 — Almost all day, every day
